The museum -
Through its abstract materiality and geometry the museum reflects the process of continuity of time and history. The facades of the museum, by showing a continuous densification, so reflect how through the process of layering, a record of all that ever happened is stored in the earth.
The lozenge pattern can so be read as a pattern that is the result of being under compression of time.
The resulting qualities that have been generated through historical layering and densification of the compression process happening over historical time are expressed in the museum as porosity, which is made productive as filtering and purifying.
