Guangzhou TV & Sightseeing tower - (also called 广州电视观光塔)
first place in invited international competition
Dutch architecture practice: Information Based Architecture and engineering firm Arup have won the commission to design the Canton TV tower; a high quality sightseeing tower containing various restaurants, observation spaces, retail and entertainment facilities. The projects includes the surrounding park & landscaping and is due to be completed in 2010 when the city of Guangzhou will be the host city for the 2010 Asian Games.
